Brother Allan Induswe

  • Hailing from Kenya, Brother Allan completed his studies in Philosophy (2010) and Sacred Theology in 2017.
  • He later moved to the USA in 2018 to complete his novitiate year and did his CPE studies at Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut.
  • Allan is now in Kenya to complete his Master’s program in Peace Studies and International Relations. He will return to USA in December 2020 at the completion of his MA degree program. He is very interested in serving Atlanta Archdiocese as a priest.

    The founding of the Dominican Missionaries for the Deaf Apostolate has been largely a labor of love for our founder, Fr. Tom Coughlin. In 1977, Fr. Coughlin was the first deaf priest to be ordained in the United States. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to create opportunities for the deaf community within the Catholic Church.
